WHAT: To celebrate 30 years in the community – making it the longest-standing original LongHorn Steakhouse in the country – the Marietta LongHorn® location will host a Pancake Breakfast event on Saturday, June 29 to benefit North Fulton Community Charities – a nonprofit organization that provides emergency assistance and enrichment programs for local families facing hunger and homelessness.
LongHorn’s Pancake Breakfast event is open to the public and will take place from 8 to 10 a.m., with remarks and a celebrating community toast at 9 a.m. The breakfast will cost $5 per person and will feature LongHorn’s 6 oz. Renegade Sirloin, bacon, scrambled eggs, juice and coffee for guests.
This event is a demonstration of the Marietta LongHorn’s long-term commitment to North Fulton Community Charities. For many years, this restaurant has donated surplus, wholesome food to this nonprofit through the Darden Harvest program – contributing to the 2,007,777 lbs. donated to Atlanta-area food banks by Darden restaurants over the past 10 years.
The Marietta LongHorn Steakhouse location opened in 1983 as the company’s second location ever built. The first LongHorn opened in 1981 in Atlanta in Buckhead. Today, the restaurant has more than 410 locations and prides itself on delivering fresh, never frozen, boldly hand-seasoned and expertly grilled steaks across 38 states.
